Bishopbriggs Back to Glasgow Forum
Bishopbriggs is a suburban town situated north west of Glasgow. Popular with young families due to the close proximity to the countryside and the busy city. Travelling to the city centre takes 6 minutes by train. Buses are plentiful to Buchanan Street and to other smaller towns nearby. Although there are no private schools situated in Bishopbriggs, the convenience of public transport facilities make it very easy for people to commute to schools, universities,colleges and workplaces. There are various eating establishments, takeaways and pubs, shopping from smaller stores to food shopping from the larger supermarkets, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and Marks and Spencer. The Leisuredrome is a very popular local sports centre opened to members of the public. Various shops are located at the Triangle Shopping Centre and at the Strathkelvin Retail Park.
