Airports In The UK
Nearly every large city or town has an airport relatively nearby. In London two of the major airports are Heathrow and Gatwick. All of the major airlines fly into the UK. In the last decade cheaper airlines have emerged, with trips to all of the major European Cities available. It is not uncommon nowadays for hen and stag parties to fly to Prague, Ibiza, Amsterdam etc. There are fantastic deals available if you book in advance, for example, some airlines were offering one way deals for ten pounds. In the last few weeks the UK has seen the collapse of several airlines, Zoom had 67,000 customers abroad when they folded last week. To help plan your route before you arrive you may wish to use Transport Direct's Door to Door Planner. Below is a list of every airport in the UK.
